All eyes and ears are focused on the ‘2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)’ that is scheduled to take place at the Indoor Stadium in Singapore on the 29th.
More than 2,240,000 votes came in this year through MAMA’s official homepage (http://www.2011mama.com), which is more than 10 times the number of votes that came in last year.
19% of the votes were from Korean fans, 11.2% of voters were Thai, 10.8% were Chinese, 8.6% were Japanese, and 2.4% of the votes came from Singapore. In total, more than 80% of all the votes were from oversea fans, which is 13% more compared to last year. Read the rest of this entry
On October 29th, Super Junior‘s Yesung shared a princely selca that showed off his handsome looks.
He tweeted, “When I’m bored, I stare off into space in a daze.”

SM Entertainment has recently revealed that it will reveal a ‘SMTOWN Live World Tour‘ photobook on November 3rd.
The photobook will include photos from their performances in Seoul, LA, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Fans are already responding hotly to the photobook.

SNSD‘s Seo Hyun and Super Junior‘s Kyu Hyun recently held a duet performance at SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in NEW YORK which took place in Madison Square Garden on the 23rd.
SM Entertainment‘s stable of artists such as KangTa, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee and f(x) were in attendance, and performed live in front of 15,000 audience members. The ‘2011 Asia Song Festival‘, which was held at the Daegu Stadium on October 15th, is being interpreted by many as a complete disaster, due to its many technical flaws.
This year’s festival celebrated its 8th anniversary, and the event was a highly-anticipated one due to its elite line-up of representative performing artists. In addition, there were plans to award trophies for ‘Asia’s Best Rookie‘ and ‘Best Artist‘ to the deserving artists. Due to the event’s international exposure, even a small problem would be interpreted as ‘unprofessional’, which was the case for this year’s event as a number of stage disasters occurred over the night.
