SNSD’s YoonA selected as most intelligent female idol

According to a survey conducted by a clinic located in Seoul Gangnam’s Seochowon, SNSD‘s YoonA was chosen as the most intelligent girl group member.

273 people were asked to choose one girl group member that seemed to have an intelligence above the rest, and 148 (54.2%) of the vote went to YoonA. Runner up was KARA‘s Goo Hara with 23.4% of all votes, followed by After School‘s Kahi who earned 18.3% of the overall vote. Read the rest of this entry

TVXQ, SNSD, and f(x) depart for NYC

Followed by Super Junior earlier today, SM Entertainment labelmates TVXQ, SNSD, and f(x) left for NYC through the Incheon Airport on October 22nd.

The ‘SM Town Live World Tour‘ will be making history on the 23rd, as the artists of SM Entertainment will be the first Asian artists to perform at the Madison Square Garden in New York. Having kicked off in Seoul, the tour captivated fans around the world with concerts in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Paris. Read the rest of this entry

SNSD releases ‘Daum Store View’ CFs

Daum Communications, Korea’s second largest portal site after Naver, recently chose SNSD as their endorsement models for their new service called ‘Daum Store View‘.

‘Daum Store View’ is a unique application which allows users to view the interior and exterior of any registered business online, regardless of the person’s location!  With the touch of a finger, a 360-degree panorama view of the interior can be seen on your favorite tablet or computer. 2NE1 reveals PV preview of “Go Away” + tracklist details

2NE1 is preparing to rock Japan with their first Japanese single, “Go Away“, and we’ve got the preview for their PV!
(Instead of using the term ‘music video’, or ‘MV’, the Japanese music industry uses ‘promotional video’ or ‘PV’).

Scheduled to hit shelves on November 16th, “Go Away” will come in three versions: two CD+DVDS (‘Type A’ and ‘Type B’) as well as ‘CD-Only’. ‘Type A’ will hold the music video for “Go Away” as well as its making-of clip, while ‘Type B’ will include an episode of ’2NE1 TV’ as well as highlights from the YGEX press conference. SNSD’s YoonA chosen as best natural beauty

SNSD‘s YoonA was chosen as the most beautiful natural beauty in the Korean entertainment industry.

On an episode of a popular Y-STAR entertainment program scheduled to air on the 22nd, random people on the street were asked to choose a female celebrity whom they thought to be a ‘natural beauty’, a beauty without the use of cosmetic surgery.

Among the selected actresses were Go Hyun Jung, Kim Jung Eun, Kim Sarang, Son Yejin, Im Soo Jung, Park Ha Sun. SNSD’s YoonA as well as KARA‘s Goo Hara, 2NE1‘s Park Bom, Davichi‘s Kang Min Kyung & G.NA were picked amongst female singers. Read the rest of this entry

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk thanks fans for ‘FAME’ presents

Back in August, we reported that Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk and SNSD‘s Tiffany would make their musical debut through ‘FAME‘.

On October 20th, Eunhyuk uploaded a few pictures and thanked his fans for the wonderful gifts they prepared for the cast.

In his first tweet, Eunhyuk wrote, “Wearing the clothes that the fans who love me gave to us as presents!!! With the FAME family who loves me!! Thank you!! We’ll prepare the best performance ever!!^^”. Read the rest of this entry

Taiwanese girl group ‘Super 7′ under fire for similarities to SNSD

On October 15th, Taiwanese girl group ‘Super 7′ known as “the Taiwanese SNSD“, released a music video for their new track “Mai Luo Suo“(麥囉唆).

For the music video, the girls wore costumes very similar to that of SNSD’s “Hoot” concept and the girls are seen wearing the same 007 retro themed outfits with thigh high boots.

On October 20th,  ’Super 7′ released an album featuring ten songs, including “Mai Luo Suo”. Read the rest of this entry

U-KISS releases new version of “Someday”

U-KISS surprised fans today when they released a new version of their follow-up song, “Someday” through various music sites.

Fans are speculating that the boys engineered a new take on the song in order to accommodate member Soohyun, who developed alarming vocal cord nodules. The condition forced U-KISS to prematurely halt their promotions for “Neverland“, and so it’s possible that U-KISS’s management is taking no chances on irritating them again.
